Synthesis & Layering Intensive
A structured deep-dive into subtractive, additive and FM synthesis, with sessions covering how to build complex textures from scratch. You will work through real project files — no abstract theory without application. Each module ends with a practical assignment reviewed by the instructor.
Field Recording for Sound Designers
Covers microphone placement, gain staging in noisy environments, and processing raw recordings into usable assets. Practical, location-based examples from Newcastle and regional NSW are included throughout.
Mixing for Picture & Game Audio
Addresses the specific demands of mixing sound to moving image — dialogue clarity, dynamic range for different delivery formats, and spatial audio basics for interactive media.
One-on-One Mentorship Sessions
Scheduled 60-minute sessions with a working sound designer. Bring your own project, get direct feedback on specific decisions rather than general advice. Booked in blocks of four.
Sample Design & Sound Library Building
A focused program on building a personal, organised sample library — from recording and editing to tagging and cataloguing for fast retrieval inside a DAW. Covers both Ableton and Logic workflows.
The people behind the sessions
Every instructor at Luckyvibeworld is an active practitioner — not a full-time educator. That distinction matters. The techniques taught here come from current studio work, not from a curriculum written years ago. Sessions are recorded in high quality and remain accessible after the live date.

Synthesis & Texture Design
Works across post-production and electronic music. Has contributed sound assets to three short films screened at regional festivals. Teaches the Synthesis Intensive and the Sample Design program.
Aoife Dunbar
Field Recording & Location Sound
Based in Newcastle, Aoife records environmental and architectural sound for documentary and installation work. Brings a practical, location-specific perspective to the Field Recording program.

- Watch and applyEach module includes a demonstration, annotated project files, and a short assignment. You work at your own pace within the cohort window.
- Submit for reviewAssignments are reviewed by the instructor with written notes. There is no automated grading — feedback is specific to your work.
- Keep the recordingsAll session recordings remain available after the cohort closes. No expiry on access once enrolled.
